The Marina Piccola beach is a 10-minute drive away. the location meant less steps which in Capri is great. the suite was big but it had no view. we didn’t complain although I’m sure we were offered one at time of booking.

This hotel, without previously knowing me, helped me arrange a special request I will forever be grateful for! Besides, the hotel is very enchanting, elegant, and authentic, reminiscent of rustic Italian haciendas, with many terraces full of plants offering sea views (even breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace directly overlooking the sea) and beautiful gardens all around the property; it's practically an estate. You need to be there to fully experience the vibe, but it is on par with much more expensive accommodations you can find in Tuscany, for example. Our room was cute with a direct view of the sea, Mount Vesuvius, and the Sorrento coastline. Everybody from the staff was incredibly hospitable, dedicated and pleasant. This could be a luxurious 5-star hotel with certain upgrades, but I think it's better to stay exactly as it is, offering authentic experience at a reasonable price.

Fico D'India Relais offers a welcoming environment surrounded by nature. The establishment is also famous for its delicious cuisine. This property is simply amazing! This place had everything: A wonderful view from the balcony, a wonderful breakfast, a restaurant for dinner (we never stayed till lunch so we don't know), and swimming pool. The staff is really friendly would definitely recommend anyone who is visiting the Amalfi coast to stay here :)

I bought the l`arte in campania card for 3 days,which cost 32 euros and i entered the archaelogical museum and pompeii this included transport in the region,i caught train to pompeii scavi for pompeii and train to ercolana for coach to vesuvius (coach and entry to vesuvius not included on card) but metro and buses and funicular was.

Old Caserta (medieval) great for historical buildings, country scenery, including a magnificent herd of goats and a beautiful old church. There are also a couple of restaurants there--Lupo's was recommended but we chose to picnic instead Read that a scene from Star Wars 5 was filmed at the Palace but Palace was closed on a Tuesday so we couldn't see it. Next time we'll take a train to Campania to explore. Fantastic shopping in town-bought a leather jacket at Nera's and the shop owner hemmed the sleeves for us that very day. If you want an easy pace, fantastic food and history go here.

Naples was the control center of south Italy before Italy...
Naples was the control center of south Italy before Italy was united, so there are many museums and castles of interest within the city itself. It is also a good base to explore the Campania region like Pompeii, Ercolano, Mt. Vesuvio and even Sorrento. Highly recommended for people to get the Campania arte card Tutte la regione to travel. And of course, Naples is the origin of pizza margheritas and they take their Baba al rhums very seriously!

Lovely town in the Campania of Italy. People were welcoming. Several lovely shops including a. gelato shop. Several restaurants including a wonderful dinner at our hotel. Municipal officials friendly and courteous. Beautiful church of St. Antonio di Padova and Castello Ducale. Wish the facilities were open more regularly. Need a few days to see the sights.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the train station (we came up from Naples by train), the Royal Palace (our main reason for visiting Caserta), and car rental outlets (we left in a rental car to visit the Campanian wine country. We were perfectly satisfied with our choice, the location perfect for our needs as well as being close to the centre of town (for window shopping) and good restaurants (there is an in-house restaurant, but we ate dinner elsewhere). The room was comfortable and well appointed.

It's very refreshing to talk with like-minded people on the roof terrace to conclude a day of exploring the area. The beach - public and private - is a 5 minute walk from the hostel, two restaurants are 2 minutes' distance away as well. Staff were the nicest people, had great fun and would totally recommend to anyone travelling in Campania.
