They also arranged a car with a guide/driver for our nocturnal trip - star gazing in Lençóis is an amazing experience when the sky is clear. The grounds are great to relax after spending the days on the dunes. Food options are limited but the food is great - traditional Brazilian food /hey, we're in the middle of nowhere!/. There is a friendly dog who lives on the grounds and we loved giving it some pets :)

Situated 47 km from Itapecuru Waterfalls, Refúgio Raiz Camping is in Carolina and has a bar and barbecue facilities. Perfect place if you need to relax and find peace. The owners have such a good energy all the place is amazing. I m so grateful I found this place.
