I’ve been traveling for sometime, lived in different hostels and this is so far the best hostel I’ve ever been! It feels so homey with the kitchen, living room and dining tables, and place us quite accessible to everything (close to a nice mall.) Perfect for those who are into “chilling” an connect with people rather than immersing to crowd. It’s veryyyy cleannnnn too! Its well maintained by the owners. Squeaky clean! 💗 The most wonderful part of this stay is the people, especially the staff. Warm, helpful and nice. I will come back in KK for sure :)

DZ Backpackers provides air-conditioned accommodation in Semporna. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. At the hostel, the rooms have a balcony. It was a lovely location for a stopover in Semporna. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. The wifi also worked perfectly 😊

Location is pretty central, close to a lot of restaurants and night market, laundry services, and about 20 minute walk to the port.

Great location, very spacious. Hot water dispenser. Okay bathrooms. The staff warned me about the noise, as I stayed on Saturday night in the room by the street, but I slept well without earplugs and the noise wasn't that bad.

It’s clean and they provide you a very comfy comforter and towel. The hostel is clean and the staff were friendly. They have common kitchen and common area with a hot/cold water dispenser. The toilet is clean with strong water and heater. Importantly they provide you with breakfast.

Located in Kota Kinabalu, 400 metres from Filipino Market Sabah, Escape Backpackers KK provides air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. They are so nice, and the rooms are good also, the temperature is better since KK is hot, they also have free breakfast and the staff are very nice people. I love staying here, and will definitely go back.
