The breakfasts were lovely, outdoors by menu. The owner, Elaine, baked the sweet of the day on our last morning which was amazing and the waiter recommended wonderful items for us to try on other days. The staff was very helpful, recommending local places to visit and tips for parking (when needed). The area is very similar to Napa from 20 years ago, with lemon and olive trees all around you (but does not have the current crowds that Napa has) with a focus on wonderful food. For the cognizanti, who want a very comfortable stay and want to feel and taste the Valley di Noto, I highly recommend this venue.

This is a beautiful, restored property with gardens, a pool, a lovely courtyard, nice dining room and a fabulous breakfast space and breakfast itself. The dinner was delicious! The view and setting were amazing! Our room was gorgeous with a stone wall at the head of the bed. They were very accommodating and helpful.

Noto was very nice. We went to dinner in Noto one night but just had pizza. It was good. Watching the action along the main street was great. A very nice local saw us struggling to figure out how to pay for parking and he kindly walked us over to the kiosk and helped us out. There was an open air market that was fun and had great food items.
Saw a beautiful sunset through the gates of the town. Lovely!
We were only there for one evening and I think that was sufficient to see everything we wanted to.

Noto is simply beautiful.
Noto is simply beautiful. If you like history, old churches, palazzos and piazzas, don't miss this gem. It is surrounded by rolling hills and there are plenty of appetising food and drink options.
It is small enough to do in a day, but I would have preferred a couple more days to really linger around and enjoy all the tiny cobblestone laneways and explore a little more.

This is my new favorite place in Sicily.
This is my new favorite place in Sicily. Noto is the perfect ballance of amazing architecture, classy restaurants with outstanding reasonably priced food, great independent boutiques.....all without the insane crowds of so many other places. Perhaps I shouldn't write this. I should tell everyone to go somewhere else. Yes, everyone should just stay in Taormina and leave these pure, clean natural beaches near Noto just the peaceful and quiet and clean way they are now...and forever. Such a great base to explore other towns of Ragusa, Modica and Scicli, but you will LOVE coming back to an amazing meal, gelato and music in Noto.

If you are visiting the East coast of Sicily, Noto is a logical stop to view a Baroque city. Easily walkable, friendly folks, enough of interest for a couple days. But I would definitely try and stay at the MichaEL Garden. Simply fabulous.
Perfectly situated in Noto. All close by.
The Room (that one with the Roof Terrace) was brilliant. Clean, cozy and spacious.
The served breakfast was daily fresh with different sweets from around Noto and sicily. Additional wishes weren't any problem.
The icing on the cake at Casa Scianna is the host Serena. From the first moment we felt heartly welcomed. She has the best recommendations for beaches, restaurants or anything else you want to see around Noto. Always chatty and smiling. The heart and soul of this place!
amazing location and a beautiful building ! many thoughtful touches in the room as well - it was a gorgeous room with really interesting art and a lot of space. The owner and staff went above and beyond and helped us organize transport and various activities. The owner herself even offered to give us a ride to the next town in our trip and gave us many tips about what to do and see. We had a wonderful time and Palazzo Tasca was a true highlight of our time on Sicily!
This small B and B is very clean and comfortable and in an excellent location in Noto. There is a lovely garden to sit in and where we had breakfast every day. Giuseppe and family were so welcoming and friendly. A special thanks to Ketty for our lovely breakfasts with fruit, pastries and homemade granita. It was a highlight of our time in Sicily - the best almond granita we had. A good value for money stay in the beautiful town of Noto.
Maria Antonietta received us late at night to give over the Oscia loft for 11 nights with pizza and beer. She was all the time very helpful, supporting and had for all our questions regarding the area good and reliable answers. Thank you again so much! The loft was well equiped, comfortable (especially bed and sofa) and big enough for 2 to 3 persons. We spent a great holiday at Noto on Sicily island.
Possibly the best stay in our entire Sicily trip! From the start, Luca welcomed us in a very friendly way, gave us with a tour of the beautiful garden and then provided us with a list of places to eat, one of which (the pizzeria) was mindblowingly good. The glamping tent was setup well and very comfortable. And of course the best thing about it all - the sound of birds as you wake up in fresh air.
We enjoyed our wonderful (although small) room with beautiful view and privacy. Very nice breakfast and free parking was also appreciated.
Most importantly, our host Ambra was a friendly and helpful source of travel advice for the Noto area and throughout Sicily (Ambra also speaks pretty good English). We had a nice visit and will stay with Ambra again, the next time we visit Sicily.
It was a wonderful location, an interesting building with super lovely hosts. They were very kind and helpful and friendly - even driving me to the station when I left. They really made me feel at home and that they enjoyed all guests and wanted everyone’s stay to be a happy one. I would definitely stay again if I returned to beautiful Noto; it would feel like visiting old friends!
This was our second time staying at Hotel Porta Reale and it didn’t disappoint. The location is fantastic and there is parking available (at a small additional fee). A welcome drink on the lovely terrace is provided and we recommend having it at sunset. The staff are very friendly and welcoming also.
I loved everything about this hotel! The rooms are a nice size and very clean. The breakfast and the pool are amazing! The staff is particularly lovely and I wish we had spent more time here. Next time we are in Sicily we plan to come back to Noto and stay here again.
Lovely setting close to Noto. It is in the middle of a farm with the smell of gardenia, grapefruit and lemon trees and of course olives. There is a large terrace in front of our compact room. Easy five minute drive to the center.
Exceeded expectations. Spacious palazzolo room, clean, comfortable, beautiful bathroom, best breakfast we had in Sicily in terms of quality and diversity. Friendly owners. Located in the heart of Noto.
Beautiful room with lots of light. Very comfortable and breakfast was very good. Another big bonus is that is right behind Caffe Sicilia, best granita and gelato in Sicily.
Beautiful boutique hotel. Just a few rooms nicely decorated managed by Teresa who is the sweetest host. Just steps away from the main atractions of Noto
Ambra was the kindest host during our holiday in Sicily. She was very informative and keen to assist in every way. The breakfasts were exceptional too.
