We had no idea that it was part of an estate with a 17th century chateau (presently being restored). The beautiful gardens have been restored and guests are free to visit the grounds. The farmer’s house where we stayed has been beautifully restored with elegantly comfortable rooms. The included breakfast was bountiful and delicious! We were warmly welcomed and we truly enjoyed our stay!

Moreover, you have the chance to embrace every single ancient white stone in your bathroom; bow to the original cotto and wooden stairs, walk in the accurately projected park where geese and hares stroll about. And, in my opinion worthest of all, listen to this marvellous man, Jean Rene’. Appreciate his effort to preserve a remarkable style of life and culture, in spite of everyday will to buy everything… but some values are costless and cannot be bought. Take your time to appreciate the beauty of the place- pictures tell it themselves- but above all, enjoy the talks with the owner and reflect upon nowadays challenge in life.

Thomas was a super host. The location is great, the facilities were confortable and beautiful, the breakfast delicious and fresh. Pleasent garden, great for family gatherings. We certainly recommend and will plan to come back soon.

Manoir du Clap er gististaður með garði í La Cerlangue, 31 km frá Le Volcan, 31 km frá Perret Model Appartment og 31 km frá Saint-Michel's-kirkjunni. The breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect for seeing the Normandy region. We enjoyed the Manoir's cozy living room which was decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree and a warm fireplace to gather with family.

Chateau du Mesnil Soleil is beautiful and tranquil location. beautiful renovation honoring the original home. The hosts Marc and Sylvie were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The bed comfortable, the room spacious with beautiful large windows and the shower was amazing! The homemade French breakfast was delicious and served in an elegant dining room.
