We love everything about the hotel. It was modern and the room had was well appointed. The toilet and shower area were perfect. The bath gel and handwash were top quality.
Manuel and Alexandra were the perfect hosts who gave advice on almost everything. They both ran the hotel and saw to everything including breakfast in the morning. Obviously they took pride in what they do. The location although on a slope was perfect was near enough to everything.
We love everything about this place. Manuel is a very witty man and had lots of good advice.
They accommodated us when we requested to help us heat up our food brought from home.
If we do come back to Ortisei we will stay here again. On a side note there is fantastic restaurant just down the slope a few minutes walk away named Torunda. Food is exceptional and we went twice when in Ortisei.

Lovely sauna and relaxation rooms which we unfortunately arrived too late to enjoy. I suggest making the most of this place and arrive early!
Breakfast was superb! Way better than anywhere else we were that week. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, eggs, rashers, ham, cheese, croissants, cakes. I would go simply for the breakfast. I think we got a very good deal start of June in shoulder season.

The town of Ortisei is a very typical Sud-Tirolean Alpine with lots of wood in use throughout the town for building and local wood carvers. It is a very quiet and peaceful town. Up the road Selva is a more geared towards younger people with lots of apres-ski bars and outdoor music events and bars etc. If you are up for a quiet and relaxing stay, which has lots of nice restaurants and shops, this is it.

The place is excellent — it was my 4th ski travel to this area (Ortizei, Selva di val Gardena), the only huge issue is that there is no direct connections from major airports — Milano, Bergamo, Verona (you could make from one of those). If you don't rent a car — the travel is ridiculous long and require several connections. Comparing to Andorra — there is regular direct bus connection right from the Barcelona airport to Andorra and across Andorra cities+villages (busses and shuttles). I don't understand why this area did not organised something like that, because you built HUGE ski infrastructure and made it complicated to reach it by travellers.

Ortisei is fine to overnight there, but what is much better is to use cable car and to go up to the mountains around. And not only in Ortisei but also in Santa Catarina and Selva...
This is really unforgettable.

Ortisei is a very cousy little village.
Ortisei is a very cousy little village. The main street is packed with shops and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance and there's plenty of choices. Not too crowded, but not a ghost town either. Just perfect for a laid back family vacation.
Huge and varied spread of breakfast and evening meal . The quality is high with all diets and needs catered for .
The facilities are fantastic - numerous activities : Indoor to outdoor pool . Sauna , sun bed , quiet areas , games rooms .
There is a substantial ski room to leave your equipment in a private locker .
If ordered in advance , the skis and boots are waiting for you when you arrive at the hotel .
There is a frequent shuttle service to the slopes as they are a few miles away but doesn t detract from the overall experience
This hotel is exceptional. It lives up to its designation as a gourmet and panorama hotel. Located above the town center of Ortisei, it is a tranquil place with spectacular views and with easy access to a wide range of outdoor activities in the surrounding Val Gardena mountains. The food is excellent, and the facilities from parking, to pool, sauna, and fitness center are clean and well taken care of. The family owners and staff could not do more to ensure that their guests are well taken care of.
The dinner and the breakfast are above the average of similar hotels and the location beats the one of many other hotels in the area. The pool is really nice, clean and enjoyable and so are the other services (such as the free spa with free apples and soft beverages, the nice bar with garden, etc.). The free taxi shuttle to Ortisei and the purpose built path in the woods that connects the hotel with the main path that brings to the alpe di Siusi deserve to be mentioned. Good value for money.
It was more than expected, surely better than the photos in Booking. The host was very nice and offered help every time and there are a lot of facilities that are included (Jaccuzi, Sauna, washing machine, breakfast, espresso machine). Also, the location is right in the middle of Ortisei, a few minutes of walking from restaurants, supermarket, and cable cars. Would define come again when visiting Ortisei!
Beautiful finished high end, modern 3 bedroom, two floors apartment. Tons of storage. Great views and easy to walk to town.
Had a mix up with the shown pictures of the unit on booking.com - but the owner of the apartment, which is in his own house (who is also the owner of a beautiful Hotel), was very gracious and gave us for no additional pay this bigger 3 bedroom unit!
Really enjoyed our staying in this one. Comfortness, quietness, location, breakfast. everything exceeded our expectation. The owner and staff were very very nice. We went to many hotels in this trip, and all of them are good,, but this one is the best. The plesant memory of our staying there has truly enriched our travel experience.
Excellent Location, Right in Center of Ortisei, SECEDA Cable Car is 100 meter away, We arrive about 10AM, The Hotel took our luggage and provided the Parking: That's exactly What you need. Wonderful Breakfast in Beautiful Settings!
Hot-tub in Balcony We Loved it! If you are coming for SECEDA, I highly Recommend to stay in this Hotel!
We spoiled ourselves with one night at Adler, a true jewel of Gröden. Our expectations were exceeded, We enjoyed every minute! The adult spa area is magnificent. The booking mentioned "half board" but it is truely a full board service. You actually don't need to leave the hotel area, except for outdoor activities ;)
A beautiful hotel in a beautiful part of Italy. The reception was very competent, knowledgeable and helpful. Local bus passes were provided, which is so good for going to the nearby tourist interests. Comfortable beds and balcony is a bonus. Excellent breakfast and dinners by the restaurant.
Hotel is in a good locations can explore Ortisei town by foot. Hotel give you card to enjoy the swimming pool nearby. The room has everything you need, well equipped. Has spare pillows. The bathroom is big and has 2 toilets which is great for 3 persons. Breakfast was great!
I will talk about BOOKING.COM they’re uncooperative and don’t care about their customers and do not try to help them with any unintended error in the reservation procedures. This is what happened to me in a number of hotels on my trip to Europe this year.
The location is great! Some rooms have amazing views. It's only short 3-5 mins walk to downtown of Ortisei. Rooms are very tidy and everything is very clean at the hotel. Breakfast was good - good selection of fruits and berries.
The Scherlin is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at during our European travels. From the location, to the facilities, and staff they are absolutely THE BEST!
Where to begin, when we arrived we got an upgrade to the hotel itself . The B&B was very close it too looked amazing . The grounds of the hotel were spectacular!!!
Lovely hotel with amazing view over Ortisei and now ski in and out via the new piste. Everything you need at the hotel and a ski bus if you want to explore.
