The staff were really nice and helpful. The room had an amazing view and was nice(kinda small for two people with big luggage but we managed just fine). The restaurant was also really good!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, and it exceeded all my expectations. Located on the shores of Lake Como, the hotel offers breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations, and impeccable service. The rooms are elegantly decorated, combining classic Italian charm with modern amenities. The hotel grounds are meticulously maintained, featuring lush gardens and a pristine pool area. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, making us feel truly pampered. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in Bellagio.

The view was amazing! The apartment is located just outside of Bellagio on the hillside overlooking the town and the lake. They provided a shuttle service that ran every 15-30 minutes to drop guests off into downtown Bellagio. The staff was very helpful, they provided information about the water taxis and how to get around town. Our room was clean, spacious, and provided lots of amenities such as a private kitchenette, large bathroom and shower, and several patios to enjoy the view. They also provided private parking either outside or in a garage so there were no worries about driving to the location as parking can be a premium in the area. The resort also had a swimming pool that was beautiful and clean. The water was cold but we still enjoyed a swim while overlooking the mountains. They was also a free breakfast buffet in the mornings that had a large variety of food and drinks.

We had a very bad experience at Como lake. because the employees in the ferry company went on a strike at 12 noon until 5 PM, and we were stranded on our first stop ( Varrena). All the private boats and water taxis refused to transfer anybody. So we had to take a taxi to return back to our hotel in Bellagio which took almost 90 minutes to reach while its not more than a 15 minutes ride by the ferry. So unfortunately these employees have spoiled our one day vacation to Como, because they could have informed us about the intended strike before we bought our circulation ticket, we could have changed our plans.

Bellagio is such a cute town.
Bellagio is such a cute town. I recommend staying there just for a day and then visiting the other small towns around it with the ferry. It is quite expensive compared to other cities but the landscapes and views are worth it.

Bellagio was by far the best village/town to stay in on Lake Como. Shopping, restaurants, bars, cafes were excellent. The streets were fantastic, and very photographic. Ferries were easy to catch to other parts of the lake. Sitting outside the Sports cafe bar near the church as a daily ritual to sip caffe or a Aperol Spritz.

Bellagio has the perfect location in Lake Como in order to visit other places around the lake. It is very picturesque and unique. It is much better than Como to stay during your trip since it's not a big town but rather a very beautiful village. The only problem is the road leading there, which is rather narrow, but this is the case for the whole of Lake Como. The alternative is moving around by boat.

The restaurants and bars and narrow lanes were great.
The restaurants and bars and narrow lanes were great. The lanes are mostly steep climbs so be fit or stop in a bar half way! Just out of town is the Alle Darsene di Loppia, very good restaurant.
Cars are generally excluded from the town centre so if you have your own car you need to make sure you can get to your accommodation. And if you have a car you need to be bold when driving, because the local Italians can fit a car through a tiny gap, at high speed, and you must do the same to get anywhere. Trust them and enjoy the ride!
The ferry trips around Lake Como were great - you can explore a lot of beautiful old towns from the ferry.

We loved Bellagio!
We loved Bellagio! we also spent a day in Varenna (via ferry) - quieter, but just as charming. Take the tour of the Melza Villa there (the interior plus gardens). Note that for all of the Villa tours, all accessible by public ferry, order your tickets well in advance because day of they will all be sold out. Bellagio and Varenna are similar in that both are built into the side of an Alp, and the "cross streets" all require navigating a hundred or more stairs. Folks who live there don't seem to notice, but in the hot sun we were sure stopping every ten stairs to rest. We just randomly picked "cute" restaurants and enjoyed every one.
The staff was great! I had a few questions for them prior to our visit and they were very quick to reply. We had to check out very early and they arranged a taxi for us and put together a breakfast bag for us filled with fruit, juices, sandwiches, and spreads to enjoy since we would miss the breakfast the hotel provides. The hotel breakfast is so good! after having only a coffee and pastry for most of our time in Italy, we really missed having more and this really hit the spot! Our views were also INCREDIBLE! It was probably our favorite part.
We booked the superior room with a view and wow, what a view! This hotel is right in the Main Street. Having the terrace off the room was amazing however it isn’t very private haha. It was great to people watch from our room and have drinks before dinner. It’s a bit loud through the night if you have the window open which is likely if the AC is not on during your visit (check with hotel because Italy is particular). Overall it was a comfortable stay so if you like to be around the buzz and have amazing views it’s a great option!
The apartment was perfect for our stay in Bellagio. The host was so incredibly helpful when we had some travel difficulties getting from Milan to Lake Como. She gave us very detailed check in instructions and directions on how to find the apartment. She also provided us with local recommendations and places to visit, as well as answering any of our questions throughout our stay. The apartment was light and spacious and very clean. Overall, we had the best time and would visit again.
This hotel exceeded any expectation I had. Bellagio can be a busy hub for travelers in Lake Como but Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni is an amazing getaway right on the water. You really feel like you are staying at your own villa on Lake Como. The staff were super friendly and helpful. This hotel also offers many great amenities like the spa, fitness center, and beautiful gardens. I would recommend this place to anyone who is traveling to Lake Como.
Great hotel outside of the main streets of Bellagio but within walking distances. It was nice to stay out of the hustle of the main streets. The pool area was lovely but sadly it was a bit cold and windy on the night we stayed to enjoy it. Room had an amazing view of the hills and lake como. Highly recommend this accommodation. The owner was lovely and very helpful and going out of her way to warn us of train strikes the following day.
Property is set in a tranquil and peaceful spot in Bellagio while still being close to the centre. We really enjoyed the breathtaking views of the lake alongside a glass of wine and a platter.🍷🧀
In addition, the hosts Marco and Andrea were excellent and attentive to our needs, while also offering helpful advice. 🤩
We highly recommend this B&B for anyone wanting to make their trip to Lake Como a special and memorable one.
Beautiful Location and Apartment. Greeted so kindly by the hosts. Less than a 1 minute walk to the eloquent Lake Como. Beautiful breakfast on the morning in a stunning modern coffee shop but still keeping the old Italian style, great food and drinks, would definitely go again. Great little village right next to the centre of Bellagio just a 15-20 minute walk or just a 2 minute bus ride away.
View was amazing. Lots of quaint shops and restaurants. The lake was gorgeous especially at sunset when the water was glistening. The ferry schedule was flexible enough to meet our needs. The express ferry back to Como was a nice option. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Right in front of the ferry station and in the middle of many shops and restaurants.
Hotel Belvedere is an absolutely beautiful hotel. We stayed for our honeymoon and had a beautiful room with two balconies looking out over Lake Como and the mountain - it was breathtaking! The pool area was beautiful and the spa had just opened the weekend we stayed and that was also lovely to relax in. The staff were so welcoming and all were very friendly!
Domus Bellagio had the best views of any hotel we’ve ever been in, looking directly over Lake Como. The staff there were amazing, picking us up from the ferry port initially and then dropping us there early so we could get back to Como for our train. Breakfast was phenomenal and was dropped off outside our door, two beautifully cooked croissants.
The location is beautiful. We loved the cute rooms, the views of Lake Como from our balconies. The hotel was able to place people in our group on same floor next to each other. We also enjoyed having the restaurant/bar downstairs to enjoy some wine and snacks outside while enjoying the beautiful view.
Without doubt the best place I have stayed in Lake Como and even Italy. The photographs do not do the place justice. It is a life affirming experience, a few minutes from everything you could ever need. I can honestly say it changed the way I see the world. It made me a better man. Just. Go.
Clean ,modern and spacious house in a perfect location with amazing views of Lake Como. The terrace is so relaxing. Pictures do not show how beautiful Casa Ketty really is. I highly recommend that you see it for yourself. I am so happy we chose this property for our stay in Bellagio.
The apartment is very nice, big, comfortable.
It was super clean and with amenities as basic food and drinks.
The owner, Carolina, super nice person. She gave us all the indications we needed to have an amazing time in Bellagio.
If I come again to lake Como, I will stay here again.
The view was spectacular. Sitting in the hot tub and looking over Lake Como was amazing. The place was very clean, modern and had everything you could need. Easy, free parking is a major bonus. We loved it so much - we only wish we had been able to stay longer.
The breakfast was plentiful with great selection, and beautifully presented. The location right on the waterfront was convenient, along with amazing views of Lake Como. Staff was very welcoming, informative and helpful. We loved our stay at Hotel Florence!
wow what a view! we were in room 302 which had 2 balconies and a great view of lake Como!
it was our honeymoon and the hotel provided a nice bottle.
reception staff were very helpful regarding transportation schedules and things to see.
Very beautiful place with super comfortable and spacious room, amazing service by the host Elena, and nice breakfast. Elena was amazing in recommending activities for Bellagio and Lake Como in general.
